FURTHER STEPS ON UKRAINIAN-NIGERIAN COLLABORATION DEVELOPMENT
The official initializing of the Cooperation Agreement between the NTUU “KPI” and the Institute of Science and Technology, Yenagoa, Nigeria, in part of the Pre-University Department establishment with Nigerian partner; took place on Thursday, October 29, 2015. The signing procedure was carried out: on behalf of NTUU “KPI” by the Director of the Centre for International Education Prof. Volodymyr Koval, while the Institute of Science and Technology was represented by its International Director Mr. Sergii Derevianko.
Preparation and development of common concept of cooperation, organizational-technical support and project management shall be implemented by the foreign economic activities office of the Department of International Collaboration of NTUU “KPI”.
In general, the Working Group of the Ukrainian side consisting of the representatives of the Department of International Collaboration, the Department of Economics and Finance, the Legal Department and the Centre for International Education of NTUU “KPI” has worked over the Project which started in February 2015, and included a number of meetings and collaborative arrangements as a part of the organizational-administrative and legal aspects of implementing the project with a view to formulating a common direction of activity.
As soon as the Joint Pre-University Department will start its activity, Nigerian students will get opportunity to be trained and awarded by Ukrainian Certificates enabling them to be admitted as First Year students in any University of Ukraine.
